Are you a passionate leader with a heart for people, gastronomy and guest experiences? Do you want to lead the gastronomy at LEGO®'s inspiring headquarters, LEGO Campus? Then we have a unique opportunity for you.

At Compass Group, we are looking for a skilled manager with a gastronomic background who can fulfil a demanding and inspiring role. You will have overall responsibility for catering and events at LEGOCampus, where you will run and develop the gastronomy and guest experience in the staff restaurant, in the meeting and conference department and in the Hospitality department. You will take on a major gastronomic leadership role, where the focus will be on leading and developing a passionate team of 35 employees, creating unique guest experiences for up to 1,600 daily guests and ensuring food of the highest quality.

You will take the lead and set the direction for how you together create inspiring gastronomic experiences that reflect LEGO's playful and innovative culture. Your success in the role depends on your ability to engage and develop your employees, deliver high-quality food concepts and ensure the ultimate service experience.

You will be a central part of the management team, where you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager of LEGO's gourmet restaurant, Restaurant 1932, and your management colleagues in LEGO's other staff restaurants. In short, you will be part of a community characterised by collaboration, learning and a passion for excellent food service.

 

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Leadership and employee development - Inspire, engage and develop your team to ensure well-being, collaboration and high quality in everyday life.
  • Food quality and innovation - With your team and our Executive Chef, create inspiring food concepts and menus of the highest quality that match LEGO Campus‛ diverse needs and cultural standards.
  • Focus on the guest experience - Setting the standard for service excellence and ensuring a holistic experience that creates value for guests.
  • Planning and optimisation - Ensure smooth operations with an overview of and follow-up on resources, staffing and finances.

 

We imagine that you:

You have solid experience in managing gastronomic teams and thrive in a role with responsibility for people, quality and business. You have a degree in gastronomy, a passion for innovative food concepts and several years of experience from similar leadership roles with high demands on coordination, overview and service. You are an inspiring leader who creates engagement and development among employees, you can communicate in both Danish and English, have business acumen and can work in a structured way with finances and optimisation.

 

Your key competences and qualities:

  • Initiative and responsibility - You are solution-orientated and resourceful with a natural drive, where you dare to take responsibility for your tasks and your staff.
  • Talent developer and motivational leader - You motivate, inspire and develop your team to create exceptional food and service experiences, and you're a natural talent developer.
  • Guest-centric mindset - You have an eye for the service experience and understand how to customise food and experiences to the guests' needs.
  • Financial and business understanding: You have strong structure and business acumen, as well as experience with budgets, reporting and optimising kitchen operations.
