Novo Nordisk Domus Hagedorn is looking for a chef with a great service gene - Are you a passionate chef who is passionate about creating food with the best ingredients and want to be part of a dedicated and dynamic team that works closely together to deliver a great gastronomic experience for our guests? About the position:

We offer a position where you as a chef will be an important part of our creative team. We cook for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and we always strive to deliver tasty food made from the best ingredients. We focus on greens and fish of all kinds. We value organic, local produce and take pride in keeping standards high, no matter who is at work. Our menus are created together in the kitchen and reflect seasonal ingredients.

In our flat structure, responsibility is shared between everyone in the kitchen, so we are not dependent on a head chef. There is always room for sparring and exchanging ideas, and we see it as a natural part of the work that everyone takes responsibility, both for the cooking and for the guest experience.

We are part of a company where we work with 360 degrees of service - that is, we don't just think about the food, but also about how we deliver a holistic experience to our guests. We keep up to date with current gastronomic trends through courses and daily sparring, and we expect you to keep yourself updated on trends and new techniques.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to develop and prepare menus that reflect the best seasonal ingredients.
  • Take responsibility for cooking and ensure high standards, no matter who is in the kitchen.
  • Help present and explain the food and wines to guests, ensuring that the food complements the wines and the overall guest experience.
  • Work with the team to ensure everyone takes responsibility for both ingredients and service.
  • Contribute to a creative and collaborative work environment where ideas and experiments are welcome, but always in co-operation and agreement with the rest of the team.

 

We are looking for a colleague who:

  • You are a trained chef and have a passion for gastronomy and quality. You're also curious about wines and their pairing with menus.
  • Has an interest in hospitality and is professional in the dialogue with guests.
  • Are outgoing, team orientated and thrive in an environment where collaboration and accountability are essential.
  • Is creative yet respectful of the team's shared vision and work processes.
  • Curious about new gastronomic trends and techniques and keeps up to date through courses, magazines, social media or own restaurant visits.
  • Working hours: Varying shifts Monday to Friday, with morning shifts 7.30-15.30 and evening shifts from 15.30-22.30 changing from week to week.
