As the front-of-house Restaurant Manager at Herthadalen, you will work closely with the administrative restaurant manager behind the scenes. You’ll become part of the core team, which includes a large group of head waiters, waiters, and runners – all with varying levels of experience. You will be responsible for leading and managing the team, ensuring that they act professionally, support one another’s development, and foster a positive work environment.
In your role as the front-of-house Restaurant Manager, your primary tasks will include:
- Managing the daily operations of the front-of-house team
- Ordering supplies
- Creating staff schedules
- Coordinating with the kitchen
- Guest handling, including show-arounds and menu meetings with event groups
WHO ARE YOU?
- Have extensive experience with à la carte, event business, and logistics
- Willing to work weekends, as we primarily operate events
- Have a strong service mindset and love leading by example on the floor
- Have significant experience leading and inspiring young people, particularly in their first job
- Are a cultural ambassador with a great attitude and take pride in being a positive role model, going the extra mile to ensure the team succeeds together
- Bring energy, positivity, and understand the importance of collaboration between all departments and staff in the restaurant
- Have a car, electric scooter, or sturdy shoes (Since we are a bit outside the forest in Lejre, it’s necessary to have your own means of transport—possibly via Lejre Station, which is 3.5 km away)
