As a chef at Herthadalen you will be part of the permanent team in the kitchen, which includes a production chef, an administrative chef, a sous chef and 2 talented young chefs, as well as student(s) and permanent kitchen assistants.
It's important that you enjoy a fast-paced working day and work well socially. On a regular basis, you will have the opportunity to feel and smell the fresh produce that has just been pulled out of the ground from our own vegetable field.
Specifically, we are looking for 2-3 chefs who are stable in meetings, have a can-do attitude and can get involved in all tasks in the kitchen. We expect you to approach your work with a high level of commitment, a big smile and the ability to lead and distribute tasks. In addition, it is crucial that you have a love for good ingredients, as we are located in the middle of the forest and use seasonal vegetables and game.
WHO ARE YOU?
- Experienced with both a la carte and parties.
- Are ready for weekend work, as we primarily work with companies.
- Want to promote local and seasonal produce and implement it in everything from day meetings to weddings and large corporate events.
- Contributes a go-getter, positive attitude and understands the importance of community between all departments and people in the restaurant.
- Have a car - Electronic scooter or seven-mile boots (As we are located in the woods in Lejre, you need to be able to get there and back yourself - possibly via Lejre St. which is 3.5km away)
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
- Pay rate is set according to qualification.
- 37-45 hour working week.
- Every third weekend off as a minimum.
- Healthy and positive work environment with good communication through all departments.
- Start optimally from 15 March 2025.
