Finanstilsynet’s canteen is looking for a dedicated and quality-conscious sous chef who is passionate about delivering food experiences and meeting services of the highest standard. Here, you will be part of a small, close-knit team where collaboration and community are key.
Your role as sous chef
As sous chef, you will play a vital role in the daily operations, working closely with the head chef and the team to ensure that the canteen’s 200-250 daily guests have a fantastic experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for catering for the 8-10 daily meetings the canteen services and contribute to the maintenance of the coffee machines both in the main building and the Palace.
You will have a varied daily routine in a canteen with fixed working hours and a holiday closure between Christmas and New Year. In the future, there will also be an opportunity for additional closure weeks in July (weeks 29/30/31).
Your main tasks
- Support the head chef in leading and developing the canteen’s operations.
- Ensure quality and creativity in lunch preparation and meeting service.
- Work closely with the team and contribute to a positive and efficient workday.
- Handle coffee machines and other practical tasks in the canteen and the Palace.
- Be an active part of the canteen’s small but strong community.
