Chef wanted for critically acclaimed restaurant ÅBEN in Kødbyen

ÅBEN is not just a restaurant - it's a gastronomic destination in the heart of the Meatpacking District, where food, beer and design merge into one unique experience. Since opening in the autumn of 2024, we have been recognised by White Guide and ranked among Denmark's best restaurants. Our ambition is clear: to create unforgettable flavours with the best seasonal ingredients and innovative gastronomic ideas.

We are now looking for a chef to help take our kitchen to new heights.

 

Your role as a chef at ÅBEN

As a chef at ÅBEN, you will be an important part of a passionate and ambitious kitchen team led by Head Chef Thomas Wetle Andersen - known for his acclaimed restaurant VesterØL on Læsø. You will have the opportunity to work with the best seasonal ingredients, help develop new dishes and contribute to the culinary creativity that our guests love us for.

 

We expect you to:

  • Trained chef with experience in quality-conscious restaurants
  • Passionate about giving guests an unforgettable dining experience
  • Are creative, curious and want to experiment with new ideas
  • Can work in a structured way in a busy and ambitious kitchen
  • Thrives in close collaboration with colleagues and contributes with good humour
