We’re currently looking for a Head Sommelier to join our team and take the lead on the wine program across all three of our venues: the BÆST restaurant, our welcoming café and Restaurant Mirabelle, and our cozy wine bar and private dining space, RINO.

For us, wine is far more than just a list — it’s a core part of our identity and the starting point of the guest experience.

We are looking for someone who lives and breathes great service. You feel at home on the floor, side-by-side with your team, guiding guests through a wine experience that feels warm, personal, and rooted in genuine quality. You’re deeply passionate about low-intervention wines and have extensive knowledge of Italian terroirs, key producers, and vintages.

You’re a relationship-builder — with winemakers, suppliers, and, above all, with our guests.
You’re highly organized, driven, and ready to craft a wine profile that reflects the values of BÆST: quality, sustainability, and true craftsmanship.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop our wine offering across restaurant, café, and wine bar
  • Curate and manage a focused wine selection centered on low-intervention Italian producers
  • Be hands-on during service: support, train, and inspire the team
  • Collaborate with the kitchen, restaurant manager, and GM on menu design, wine pairings, and events
  • Maintain strong relationships with current suppliers — and discover new ones
  • Take charge of ordering, inventory, cost control, and cellar organization

What We’re Looking For

  • Documented experience as a head sommelier — ideally across several outlets
  • A solid passion for and deep knowledge of Italian wines, especially natural and low-intervention styles
  • A strong presence in service — you enjoy working the floor and being part of the team
  • Excellent organizational skills and a good grasp of wine cost, margins, and stock management
  • A collaborative spirit and proven leadership qualities
