About the role
We are looking for a full-time Bartender to join our team. Soho House Copenhagen opened in August 2022 and is a members’ club for the creative industries with locations all over the world. We want our members to feel at home when they come to our house, and we offer both carefully selected local drinks and cocktails that follow the Houses globally. We provide plenty of training on products and drinks, and we need you to be proactive and willing to learn.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure all beverages are prepared and served in accordance with bar and company service standards
- Maintain all bar mise en place according to standards
- Contribute ideas and recipes to drinks menus
- Keep the bar and beverage areas clean in line with site, company and legal H&S standards
- Help develop bartenders and bar backs through onboarding, on-the-job training and sessions; suggest development opportunities to the Bar Manager/General Manager
- Assist the Bar Manager/Head Bartender with daily duties
- Ensure bars are well stocked with products and equipment each day
Working pattern
As a members’ club, we are open from morning to late evening every day. You’ll work both mornings and evenings on a rotating rota, supporting a variety of events and happenings in the House.
Who you are
- You have experience behind the bar and basic knowledge of classic drinks and products
- You’re proactive, accommodating and a team player who enjoys creating great member experiencesYou’re comfortable saying:
- I have at least a few years’ experience making drinks and cocktails
- I know the basics about bar products, tools and techniques
- I enjoy hospitality and expanding my horizon within my field
